Who We Are

Celia Ramirez

Founder and Director

I am a mother of three, two sons and a daughter. I Grew up in Perrysburg Heights and a graduated from Perrysburg High School. At 9 years old my parents divorced, and after a year of living with my mom, my father gained custody of my siblings and I. Once my father gained custody I was out at the softball diamonds where my family established the name Homeboys! Homeboys Bike club was created in honor of my brother Jose who was killed in 2010. After years of being a member of Homeboys RC, John Barnosky and I branched out and created Homeboys Haven. Our goal is to give guidance and education to the youth through trade programs. I am absolutely grateful for this opportunity and excited to help shape my community.

John Barnosky

Founder and Co-Director

I am a father of 4 children and engaged to Monica Espino. I grew up in a home of an absent father and hard working single mother. I filled the role quickly as " The Man of the house" at a young age. I enlisted into the Army at the age of 20 and learned my first trade as a Diesel Field Mechanic. After being honorably discharged I worked as machine operator, waiter, and landscaper. After about 5 years I found my trade as a contractor that specializes framing, siding, floor, kitchen and bath remodels.
